How a sleep accessory
actually works.
Most shoppers who walk into Mattress Lux, serving Kennesaw, Acworth and Atlanta, ask the same question, what makes a PureCare sheet or protector different from the stack at a big-box store. Here is the short version. PureCare runs four hero technologies, OmniGuard, FRIO, CELLIANT, and Precision-Fit, each one solving a specific sleep problem. Our team can demo all four side by side.
| # | Component | Role | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | OmniGuard® Advance | Physical barrier | A lightweight performance fabric that shields your sleep environment from stains, moisture, mold, and mildew. Provides a 5-sided physical barrier against allergens and dust mites, while staying breathable and quiet, no plasticky rustle.Trademark · Mattress & pillow protectors |
| 02 | FRÍO® Cooling Fibers | Heat dispersion | Micarex-based responsive textiles infused with crushed minerals that channel body heat through each thread. The tunneling effect keeps heat from accumulating, the surface stays refreshingly cool. Cools up to 5 times faster than traditional polyester.Trademark · Cooling protectors, pillows, sheets |
| 03 | CELLIANT® | Infrared recovery | A blend of bioceramic minerals embedded into textiles that captures body heat and converts it to infrared energy, reflecting it back into muscles and tissues. Promotes temporary increases in local blood flow for faster recovery. FDA-recognized general wellness device.Hologenix LLC trademark · Recovery sheets & protectors |
| 04 | Precision-Fit™ | Secure fit | Sewn-in elastic corners and a 1-inch elastic cuff on every fitted sheet and protector, plus 4 extra inches of width on the flat sheet and deep enveloping pillowcase pockets. Stays clean, stays put, fits mattresses up to 18 inches deep including adjustable bases.Trademark · All sheets and 5-sided protectors |
OmniGuard, FRÍO, and Precision-Fit are trademarks of Fabrictech 2000, LLC dba PureCare. CELLIANT is a registered trademark of Hologenix, LLC. The FDA has determined that CELLIANT products are general wellness devices that promote temporary increases in local blood flow. 06 · Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you
need to know.
01 What makes Puffy's Cooling Cloud foam different?
Puffy's Cooling Cloud Layer is a gel-infused memory foam engineered to draw heat away from the body and
disperse it through the mattress. Combined with adaptive micro-lattice channels in the Royal Hybrid and
Lux Hybrid, the surface stays cool all night while still contouring to the shoulders, hips, and back. It
is the comfort layer that gives every Puffy its cloud-like feel.
02 Which Puffy mattress is best for side sleepers and back pain?
Both Puffy mattresses work for side sleepers, but the Puffy Lux Hybrid and Puffy Royal Hybrid are
top picks for side sleepers and anyone shopping for the best mattress for back pain near Atlanta.
Both layer Cooling Cloud foam over individually wrapped coils for pressure relief at the shoulders and
hips without sinking into the bed. Puffy has been ranked Best Mattress for back and side sleepers across
multiple review categories, and you can test both in person at Mattress Lux.
03 Where are Puffy mattresses made?
Every Puffy mattress is designed and manufactured in the USA. Puffy uses premium materials and a
multi-layer build engineered for durability, breathability, and pressure relief, then ships free to your door or to our showrooms serving Kennesaw, Acworth and Atlanta.
04 What size base or frame works with a Puffy?
Puffy mattresses are designed to work on any frame or surface, box springs, flat frames, slats, platform
beds, or adjustable bases. If you want a matching base, ask about the Puffy Bed Frame and Puffy
Adjustable Base at any Mattress Lux showroom.
05 What is the Puffy sleep trial?
Try your mattress as part of Puffy's 365-night sleep trial, risk-free. After at least 30 nights of testing, if you change your mind, Puffy will schedule a free return and issue a full refund.
Note: The updated terms apply to purchases made on or after February 23, 2026. Customers who purchased prior to that date retain their original trial terms.
